We’ve been blessed today. Golfing royalty Sir Jeff of Ritter, Earl of Swington popped into GOLFPUNK Towers for a cup of tea and a chin wag.
To mark the occasion we presented him with an honorary Staunch Award for ‘Most Colourful Tuition Page In Golf’ 2008.

Here is some footage of how the pros practice breaking putts from video I took at Augusta. To set up your aim line, follow these steps.
1. Set up a putt no more than 12-15 feet in length.
2. Stick one end of your aim line in the ground just behind your ball (in the same spot as if you were marking your ball).
3. Stretch the other end of the aim line even with the cup on the line you believe is correct.
4. Stretch the original end of the aim line back behind the ball giving enough room to make a stroke.
5. Roll a putt, then based on the result, adjust the aim line for more or less break.
* Most people under read the break, so it is recommended that you put a "blocker" such as another ball or club just on the high side of the aim line. This will stop you from pulling or pushing the ball to a higher line.
* Aim lines can be found at www.pelzgolf.com
Hunter Mahan demonstrates a great looking one plane pitching motion. Notice how his right arm travels well across his chest into the follow through as his left arm folds back and behind. Also notice how he is pitching to specific yardages in the form of head covers and towels laid about the range.
Trevor Immelman's fantastic swing!
Can something like this happen again? Enjoy Masters weekend 2008!
Well....I just couldn't hold this one back any longer. Enjoy clips from the the greatest Masters ever! I will be in Augusta all Masters week, so if any of you are at the tournament keep your eye out for me. I would be happy to say hello.
Also, remember that I have a special "Masters Ultimate Golf Week " where you can stay with me in Augusta Monday to Monday, enjoy a Two-Day Golf School with yours truly and attend all 4 Tournament rounds. Inquire for more details for the 2009 Tournament!
Another look at a great swing from the behind angle. Notice how Hogan makes a strong move to his left side just prior to the completion of the backswing. Once he has leaned hard to his left, he makes his turn to the finish with his left leg snapping straight though impact. You won't find another player who exhibits more athletic leg action than Ben Hogan!
Jeff demonstrates how to simplify your putting stroke.
Hunter Mahan demonstrates fantastic posture for a one-plane style swinging motion. Also take note of how well he stays bent forward in his spine tilt as he rotates through impact and well into his follow through.
